An important change has been the streamlining of telehealth services, which have now become part of main-stream clinical practice, whilst this has some disadvantages, telehealth has allowed improved access to specialist services, particularly those in remote and regional parts of Australia.


All of Sunny’s arrhythmia clinics are fully telehealth capable, including:
• Telephone consultations
• Video consultations
• Remote monitoring of implantable devices*
• Remote monitoring of AliveCor smartphone devices*


Face to face consultations are also available upon request provided patients meet our
COVID-19 screening questions.

What Do I Need?

Phone Consultation:
Phone consultations can be arrange via mobile or land-line phones.


Video Conferencing:
To facilitate video consultations, you will need access to:
• A reliable internet connection
• A device with an attached video camera. This can be
• A desktop computer with an attached camera
• A laptop computer with built in camera
• A smartphone device with built in camera

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in severe disruption to the lives and livelihoods of an untold number of people in Australia and around the world. Additionally, it has resulted in a number of changes to the way health care is provided.

Sunny provides both face to face, telehealth and video consultations. Patients for face to face consultation must pass the following COVID-19 screening questions:

• Not currently diagnosed with COVID-19
• Not currently under an isolation order
• No symptoms of COVID-19
• Sore throat
• Fever
• Cough
• Breathlessness
• Sudden loss of smell
• No overseas travel in the preceding 14 days
• No contact with a known case of COVID-19
• No close contact with people who what recently arrived from overseas in the last 14 days.

We encourage all our patients to practice social distancing and take care during these challenging times.
